Laser scanning is fast and simple method of capturing the size and deployment of a large number of objects. The great advantage of this process is that these data are remotely sensed (for example from a safe place during operation of the factory). But the result of measurement is only a very large number of separate points in space – often several million or more.
In order to easily visualize data, it is necessary to convert these points into 3D models. For this purpose, there are specialized software and procedures. The result is a 3D model, which can be further used by default.
This conversion is available in two different levels:1. Conversion to 3D model for marketing visualization, producing teaching materials and so on. The conversion is provided by IT specialists and graphic designers.
2. Conversion to 3D model on the design level (reverse engineering). At this level are also carried out further technical investigation and are provided by licensed engineers (in cooperation with our sister company Industry & Project Engineering).
